Kachenga was established as a budget-friendly extension of the four star luxury Tongole Wilderness Retreat. Our Mission is to make the unique wildlife adventure offered by Nkhotakota Wildlife Reserve accessible to everyone, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. With wildlife reserve now under African Parks management, more animals, have been translocated in the area, increasing the chances of coming face to face with wildlife.
Kachenga is ideal for:

- Individuals looking for a quiet time to refresh, refocus and recuperate
- Simply immersing in the forest and enjoy a rare "forest bath".
The camp is ideal for hosting large groups of people e.g volunteers working around the surrounding communities.
